3 Lipstick Combos to Try

3 Lipstick Combos to Try

Similar to a good man, having a good lipstick is arguably, in my opinion, equally hard to find. Finding the perfect lipstick color comes with a few requirements…

1. you want it to work with your skin tone

2. you don’t want it to dry out your lips

3. you need it to have 24-hour staying power

In efforts to find the perfect shade, I decided to take matters into my own hands, and now I want to share my discoveries with you! I found the perfect lipstick combos to try, so keep scrolling to see what they are!

Perfect Pout

‘Tis the season for the perfect red pout! I combined this gorgeous bright red lipstick from Dior with an ever so slightly deeper red lip liner. I filled in most of my lips with the liner before going over it with the lipstick. It gave me a super subtle red gradient and had quite the staying power. Statement lips for the win!

Tickled Pink

This is my take on the blurred lip trend. It’s kind of an ombre/stained feel that I love! I put this light pink all over my lips as a base, then I went in with this gorgeous Barbie pink lipstick in the center of my pout. It gave me the perfect flush of pink.

Peachy Keen

Peachy coral lips are so underrated. It’s like an updated nude! I grabbed this lipstick, which is kind of a peachy pink but then I layered it over with this lip gloss! And voilà- the perfect coral. (PS: how much do we love that lipglosses are making a comeback?)

What combo is your favorite? And remember, while I really love these combos for myself I understand that they might not work for everyone. So, I encourage you to experiment on your own! See how many combos you can come up with to create a unique color!
