Hi guys! Earlier this week I blogged my DIY spring clipboard art [HERE] & I’m so in love how that project turned out! It really made this corner of our dining room pop & made me fall in love with that big chalkboard of ours all over again. In that post I shared that I would come on here later this week to chat about that shelf below the clipboards, so here I am! I would describe our style in this farmhouse as cottage greenhouse & this little corner really got a cottage greenhouse makeover this past week & I wanted to share more of that with you today here on the blog….
I’ve had this antique rolling rack here for quite a while & it’s so fun to style in this space. I usually keep an overflow of our dishes & other dining room goodies on it that I’m loving lately. This week I added a few garden items like the antique green garden tools, vintage green drawers, some of my vintage green book collection, & some antique seed packets that I picked up at a recent flea market. I also picked up some awesome seed starter kits at Target that had the cutest packaging… gets me every single time! I haven’t started the seed kits yet, but they look cute on here for now. At the bottom of the shelves I added some antique seltzer bottles that I love styling with in many areas of our home. Other items on the shelves like antique scales, stoneware, & some other lovely items. These shelves are full of texture & this corner is happy because of it!! Basically the shelves have all my normal items on here I keep, but I added some lovely pops of green in there that really bring my cottage greenhouse decor dreams to life.
Yesterday I shared our new windows in our dining room [HERE] that are on the other side of this room that also bring in a pop of green to the space to compliment this cottage greenhouse bookshelf. Have you noticed my love for green lately in the house? Maybe it is because it’s been so cold here or maybe it’s just a phase… but it’s giving me life & I’m loving every second of it! What do you think of our cottage greenhouse dining room shelves? What do you think of the pops of green! Can’t wait to hear what you think!! As always, THANK YOU for stopping by the blog today & everyday to see what we are up to. xx
