Picnics are an exceptionally summer undertaking, because when you can still feel so free in nature. And the devices for class rest are invented a great variety. But the most important, except, of course, the company, in a picnic is a treat.

We dare to argue that the traditional shish kebabs are already a little tired. At least, you can always try something new. And if you do not have much time to wait until the coals are burned and the barbecue is prepared, take our recipes into service. Believe me, you did not do anything faster than that!

The great thing is that you can easily make the preparations of these dishes at home in a few minutes. And on a picnic, you just have to make a small fire and cook them.

The main ingredient of both dishes is puff pastry. You can cook it yourself, but now there are dozens of ready-made replacements. So, we take up the first recipe.

Hot dogs at the stake

You will need:

  • packing puff pastry,
  • sausages,
  • skewers.

That’s the whole simple set! Now cut the puff pastry with strips of 1.5-2 cm, put the sausages on the skewers and wind it with dough. Voilà! Now you can go to the fire! Only first wrap each hot dog foil and make sure that the fire is not too large and the hot dogs do not burn. After 15 minutes you can remove the foil and brown the treat.

Serve hot dogs with different sauces to taste: tomato, cheese, garlic. And be careful: inside the sausages will be very hot.

Rolls with cinnamon

Breakfast with fresh pastries on a picnic? This is possible if you make the blanks. For sweet buns, you will need such products :

  • packing puff pastry,
  • 1 yolk,
  • sugar,
  • cinnamon,
  • skewers.

First roll the dough and cut its triangles. Now take the skewer and start winding it into the dough from an acute angle. You can pre-lubricate the inside of the dough with butter and sprinkle with sugar – this will be even sweeter. Now wrap the rolls in foil and bake for 10 minutes until half cooked.

When the rolls are almost ready, dip them into the beaten yolk, then into the sugar and cinnamon. Rolls ready to go to the fire! Watch out for the fire and get ready for the most delicious breakfast outside!
