Global fashion search platform Lyst has released their “most wanted brands” list for the year, which names and ranks the labels most in demand on Instagram. Lyst recognizes Instagram developing as a powerful fashion force, setting trends and boosting sales during 2018. The platform monitored the spikes in search demand correlating to Instagram mentions and brand tags during the course of last year. Here, the ten fashion brands most searched on Instagram.
Eco-friendly Veja’s determination to make the most sustainable sneaker captured the attention of Meghan Markle and, thus, the world. The brand became a streetwear staple after the duchess wore Veja Esplar Leather Sneakers to watch a sailing event with husband Prince Harry in Australia. Instagram searches has increased 113 percent year to year.
It’s no wonder Meghan is a fan of celebrity-loved ethical fashion brand Reformation. She stepped out in the brand’s breezy linen Pineapple Dress while on the Australia tour, and the garment sold out almost overnight. Just in time for summer, Reformation has restocked the Pineapple Dress, and it’s a sure bet it won’t be available very long.

fashion brand to international recognition. Global searchs for the brand are up
52 percent year on year.
After the brand’s Moreau macramé leather bucket bag spiked following
February fashion week, their Shirley bag sold out all summer.
The denim dresses and jumpsuits of this sustainable label have
been favored by customers as well as influencers.

Searches are up 12 percent year on year for this brand that’s
been worn by Vanessa Hudgens, Lucy Williams and Carmen Grace Hamilton and Candice
Swanepoel. The label is a favorite with celebs who like to travel.
Searches for the brand’s Gabin dress numbered more than
9,000 searches a week from July to September last year.
10. Stine Goya
Demand for the Copenhagen-based brand continues to climb.
