Best Sauerkraut or Pickled Cabbage Soup Recipes

Sauerkraut soup “Quick”

We will need: water 2-3 liters, potatoes 4-5 pieces, sauerkraut (pickled cabbage) 300-500 grams, onions 1-2 pieces, carrots 1-2 pieces, vegetable oil for frying, black pepper, bay leaf, smoked sausage 100-200 grams, fresh greens.

Cooking: peel the potatoes, cut into cubes, set to cook. When the water boils, add sour cabbage. While the vegetables are boiling, let’s take onions and carrots: chop the onion finely, three carrots on a grater. We pass the vegetables in a small amount of oil, send to the pan. Check the potatoes for softness, turn off the stove. Salt, throw bay leaf and chopped greens. We cut the sausage into strips and serve with the soup in a plate. To taste add a spoonful of sour cream.

Soup of fresh and sauerkraut with chicken “50/50”

We will need: water 2-3 liters, chicken (whole or parts for soup), fresh and sauerkraut (pickled cabbage) 200 grams each, onions 1-2 pieces, carrots 1-2 pieces, bay leaf, vegetable oil, greens.

Cooking: we put the chicken to boil, after 15-20 minutes we add sauerkraut, after another 10 minutes – fresh cabbage. Grind onions and carrots, fry in oil. Add to the soup. We check for readiness chicken, salt, pepper, put bay leaf. Serve with chopped herbs.

Soup pickle with sauerkraut

We will need: water 2-3 liters, meat products (ham, salami sausages, smoked sausages, sausages, boiled pork, bacon) – 200-300 grams, sauerkraut – 200 grams, pearl barley – 60-100 grams, potatoes – 2-3 pieces, onions onions – 1 piece, carrots (optional), vegetable oil, bay leaf, greens.

Cooking: wash the cereals, set to cook. Finely chop the onion, three carrots on a grater. In a stew-pan we put sauerkraut stewed, after 10 minutes we add onions and carrots and bring to softness. Cut meat products into strips. We add vegetables and meat products to the pan, here we also send potatoes cut into cubes. Cook until soft potatoes. Season with bay leaf, salt. When serving, decorate with herbs.
