Scientists from the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development conducted an experiment that determined that coconut oil is effective in treating patients with coronavirus infection. This was reported on Monday, October 19, by the International Business Times.
It is noted that virgin coconut oil not only destroys the virus, but also activates the immune system to fight the disease. So, the tool helps to increase the survival of body cells. In patients with a mild form of the disease, molecules of coconut oil can reduce the level of the virus in the blood of an infected person by 60-90%. The experiment was carried out with the participation of 56 people. None of them had a serious illness.
