Rainbow japanese dessert
The variety and saturation of the color gamut, as well as taste shades, will largely depend on which fruit juice you prefer to use. Total required:
- 300 millilitres of milk;
- 210 grams of sugar;
- 1, 650 liters of water;
- 60 millilitres of fruit syrup – if you want more shades, you will need different in the same proportions;
- 16 grams of gelatin or its substitute – agar-agar powder.
Having prepared the necessary ingredients, you can begin to create a culinary masterpiece:
Step 1. In one container, mix 4 grams of gelatin or agar powder, 150 millilitres of water and 60 grams of sugar.
Step 2 Heat the resulting mixture on the stove until boiling, and then turn off the heat.
Step 3 Add 300 millilitres of milk and mix thoroughly.
Step 4 After making sure that you get a uniform consistency, pour the mixture into the dishes of the necessary shape – let it be there until it cools and solidifies. This is a dairy base.
Step 5. Here you must repeat the previous steps, but add not milk, but water and 20 millilitres of fruit juice or syrup. Mix the ingredients well and refrigerate.
Steps 6-7. Do everything as in the previous step, but use juices of other colors.
Step 8 When all ready mixes harden (this will take about half an hour), cut them into cubes, spread on a milk base and pour the resulting cake again with the agar mixture.
When it cools down, you get a small culinary masterpiece, which we managed to cook without baking – light and airy. It remains to cut it into rainbow pieces and wish each other a pleasant appetite.
